In This Issue You'll Find:

Web Site News

Thank you for all your responses regarding our question about the length and frequency of the newsletter. You were overwhelmingly in favor of a shorter, more frequent newsletter. So here is our first bonus issue. A single article about the Harry Potter series. It has been one of the most frequently used search terms on our site and it's about time we went into them in debth. Here you'll find summaries (if you haven't read them yet yourself), related books, classroom activities and related links. Enjoy.

Carol Hurst will be doing teacher workshops for Literacy Corner (http://www.literacycorner.com/) this Spring. She'll be in Albany, NY on Tuesday, April 4th and in Hartford, Connecticut on Tuesday, March 7th. Registration is open to the general public. Call 1-518-862-9737 for more information. Hope to see you there.
